Yes folks, here it is! The outdoor corn/oats/wheat/rye burner. Burns up to 17% moisture corn and only needs to be checked on every few days. Has no ash pan!!! Can install a bin large enough to fuel this unit the entire heating season. The largest home we have one of these units installed presently is 4500sq.ft. and also heats two hot water heaters and a 600sq.ft. guest house. It is looking for more work.  These units are a little pricy, but well worth the purchase if heating large areas. (shop, in floor heat, hot tub, water heater, swimming pool, boiler and forced air applications)

CAN I HEAT MORE THAN ONE BUILDING?

Yes! You can heat up to 4 different buildings with one furnace. The AMERICAN ROYALL wood boiler will effectively heat your hot water heater, hot tub and swimming pool!

CAN I USE YOUR FURNACE WITH MY FORCED AIR SYSTEM?

Yes! By installing a coil in your duct work you can use it with your forced air system. The fan from your present furnace kicks on and the coil superheats the air then passes through you duct work. Just like an A/C coil but with hot water. You can also heat your pool, hot tub and domestic hot water heater.

DO I NEED TO USE ANTIFREEZE?

No! Not if you hook it up to your current furnace or boiler. Your current furnace will know when the outside furnace is out of wood and the gas will automatically come on to help the outdoor wood furnace from freezing. Also the pump will stay on and circulate the water. Anti-freeze burns 30% more wood. 

WILL THIS WORK WITH IN-FLOOR HEAT?

Yes! In-floor heat is very nice and the AMERICAN ROYALL works with all in-floor heat systems.

WHAT HAPPEN IF ASH PAN GETS STUCK?

The ash pan is open ended to scoop up the ashes that fall .the drawer. The drawer slides in and out in all conditions. However our competitors will have you believe that the ash pan is very heavy. This just is not true.  Ashes do not weigh that much. My wife and children have no problem sliding the pan out. Then simply dump the ashes in a trash can or wheel barrel. What could be simpler???

HOW MUCH WOOD WILL I USE?

That is a difficult question, but if you burn a hard wood, 5-8 cords would be common for a 1500- 3000 sq ft home. The type of wood, proper furnace size and the temperature you keep your home at are all factors of wood consumption. Also remember that you are heating your house and domestic hot water 24/7 for the entire heating season.

CAN I BURN GREEN WOOD AND HOW MUCH DOES WOOD COST?

Yes, burning green wood with our air tubes works best. We have a local wood dealer that sells 10 cords of red oak for about $700.00 that is delivered to your home and stacked. We can provide his info at time of purchase if needed.

CAN MY KIDS GET BURNED BY TOUCHING THE STOVE?

The only way to get burned is if they get inside the stove. All AMERICAN ROYALL stoves are fully insulated even the door will not burn. Snow will sit on the roof as well. There is a lock option for the door if you have any concerns.
